On Saturday, Grandma went back to California. Baby Silas misses her, and we do too. Grandma came out to New Haven when Sada went into labor and stayed with Sada in the hospital while she recovered when baby Silas went up to Boston. She stayed up late nights with Silas in the NICU, taught him his first exercises, laid awake with him when he couldn't sleep, gave him his first bath, washed all of his linens and clothes, gave him his first toys and did hours and hours of cooking and cleaning for mom and dad so they could sleep when they needed it most. We are so grateful for all of her thoughtfulness, sacrifice, and generosity. Thank you, Grams, and Happy Birthday!
