Stay classy, San Diego

A visit to Grams and Gramps in San Diego. They moved to San Diego from the Midwest last Fall, and part of that decision was that they could be closer to Silas and support him through the challenges he has and will face. We are so grateful to have both sets of grandparents within a few hours' drive (or train ride) and that they are so willing to learn how to care for Silas. We look forward to visiting Grams and Gramps in their new place often!

A day at Grams' always includes some learning...

...and goofing around with Gramps.

"Are you kidding me with this view?"

The destroyer ship in the background was headed halfway around the world, with all the sailors lined up on the perimeter of the deck. We practiced waving.

At the Farmers' Market in Little Italy
(It's really tempting to treat the stroller like a shopping cart.)

Aunt Mindi came over for cuddles!

Saying hi to new friends at Gramp's church.

It was so fun to stop by the Stephens' on the drive down. They have three kind and fun-loving kids, and Silas loves watching them all! We were grateful for the good times, encouragement, and caffeine. Note to self: never have thighs in foreground of photo.

See you again soon!
